With the upcoming by-election to be held on November 11 in the Tarn Taran Assembly constituency, a meeting of the Block Coordinators of the “War Against Drugs” of Tarn Taran constituency, was organized today under the leadership of Punjab Mandi Board Chairman and Aam Aadmi Party Punjab’s State General Secretary, S. Harchand Singh Barsat.
During the meeting, Harchand Barsat appreciated the hard work being done by the team members. The State General Secretary encouraged everyone to extend maximum cooperation to ensure a big victory for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu in the upcoming by-election in Tarn Taran, and to reach out to the public with the welfare works and achievements of the Aam Aadmi Party government. He said that the work being done by the Aam Aadmi Party government for the progress of the state should be taken to every household.
Harchand Singh Barsat said that the Punjab government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, has been continuously working to make Punjab prosperous and vibrant. To eradicate drugs from the state, a “War Against Drugs” campaign is being carried out, which is showing positive results. During its three and a half years of governance, the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab has undertaken exemplary work for the welfare of the people and the development of the state.
He said that during its three and a half years of tenure, the Aam Aadmi Party government has brought major improvements in every sector. People are being provided 600 units of free electricity. Canal water is being supplied to the fields. The government is providing government jobs to youth without any bribery or recommendations. Citizens are being given quality healthcare facilities. Women are availing the benefit of free bus travel. To encourage youth towards sports, various sports tournaments are being organized and new playgrounds are being constructed. Along with this, the renovation and repair of rural link roads are also being carried out. He appealed to the people to ensure a massive victory for Aam Aadmi Party candidate Harmeet Singh Sandhu.
